A touch of Spring

March has been cold. About 2 w ago, it came a huge snowfall in Kristiansand. I was visiting the boys, and when it was time to go home, I was walking in snow over my knees.

Now we are in the end of the month, and sudden we gets a touch of Spring. It is not warm in temperature, and defently ice cold at night time. But in daytime the sun is really warming.

So then it was  time to get the porch ready for the cats.
I have chosen to have it blue this year. And I have also bought a new sofa, so it gets better place when friends comes on visit.
The real flowers is not planted yet, but I did manage to get it cosy anyway.

Emma has been here only 14 days, but it feels like she has been living with us forever. She sattle down in 1 day.
She is an energic and happy little lady who loves everyone. We tought she would get closest to Milla, but it is strange how they choose. She chose Ozzie, the most naughty (and sweet) cats of them all.
Milla is good to have when she get tired tough :-)
Emma has wondeful green eyes and gets better and better spots. And she is very elegant. So we are very pleased with her.

As it is Easter now, we have visit of all 3 boys. It is very different from 3 to 6 cats in the house.
And Tiger and Hidalgo are big big boys and not so silent when they are racing around. Bom-bom - it is like elephants. And Ozzie and Emma who is also high and low - it is a miracle all things stands on the same places when the night comes :-)
Tiger is the boss, but Hidalgo don't mind. And as Tiger is Bicos big hero,he think it is ok too.

We have just one sad anounsment to come with.
Little Bico has been trough a big health check. We knew from the past that not everything  was optimal. But we climbed to the hope that it would be ok, when he grew.
We had him colour tested, and he is lilac spottet, and we had him tested for PRA. He is N/N.
Then it was time to wait for all the tests we had done at the Vet,
My stomac feeling was not the best, but maby maby he was allright, maby we could have one litter with him. So he could pass on his eyecolour and his wonderful temper.
I am just glad we did not sell him when he was little. The result came back, His liver is totally damage.
It was a chock, Breeding is a bonus, but a long happy life is the most important. We don't know how long he will be a happy boy with no pain. For now it looks very good, but it can turn quickly.
We just hope he will fight so we can have him at least a  couple of years.
He has fighted all since birth. He should not survived. He did not get much help, but he wanted to live.
Wanted to live to spread joy and love around us. Therfor this feels so unfair.
Bico has been put on Suplerion chip, because it was to risky to put him in narkoses for a neutering. But it works very well. Then his body do not need to concentrate on fertility on top of his other problems.

He has his forever home together with Tiger and Hidalgo, and both are taking very good care of him. Especially Tiger. He must have known from the start that Bico is a very special little boy with special needs. Tiger has the same special "gene" that also Milla has. The need of taking care of those who needs it the  most. I love Tiger for that,
As Bico is also here now, he know when his body needs to rest. Then he can sleep for hours.
When he wants to play he is seeking Emma.

This was all this time.
As the Spring is just around the corner it will be lots of updates and pictures during the next months.

A new little princess has arrived:-)

Finally the waiting is over. We have a new little girl.

When my good friend and cooperater Carolynn went to Germany to pick up Hidalgo from Stefanie she was able to couddle with 3 different litters. With other words, lots of beautiful, curious kittens in different ages.
One little kitten was very different from the others, one of Hidalgos litter-sisters.
Her name is Honey Bunch, and she fits her name perfectly.
Even she was at the time just 4 month old,she helped out with all the kittens in the house, big and small.
She was the extra mini super-nanny.

Honey was still for sale, and Carolynn tried to reach me by phone. But I was at my work and did not get hold on her before much later - then she,her daughter and Hidalgo was far away from Stefanie.
We spoke, and Carolynn did not want to take with her 2 cats to Norway without speaking with me first.
She should have done that, I fell in love with Honeys personality right away.
So we decidet that we wanted Honey too, and she was reserved the same day Hidalgo drowe to Norway - 16th of Dec 12.

Since it was Christmas and later not the easiest weather to drive a car in, we had to wait some time before we could pick Honey up.
Then we lost our beloved Ida and much more happend. The time seemed never right.

But now is Honey here with us! She is a girly version of her other litter-brother Starlite, and she is such a sweetie. Not extreme in any way, but she got her wonderful pedigree. For me pedigrees are often more important than just a cats look.
The best with Honey is her calm and sweet personality. Her need to care for all little once.
She is really just like our wonderful girl, Milla.
So I feel so greatful to have 2 girls like that in my cattery now. Future kittens will be very lucky.

Honey is also a houdini. She broke out of her travel cage - the very first thing she did when she was put in the car. She wanted to sleep in my lap all the way home.
She charmed/frightened some costumers too with her talking:-))

She is also co-owned with Carolynn.
Since I have been sorted "forced" to stay with Carolynn for a while, during illness, Honey came first to her home. There she has seen all the cats, boys and girls. Milla and Ozzie is also here with us.
From the very frist start - day 1, Honey has been one of the others. Never any hiss.
She found especially 2 favorites very fast. Milla who is the same calm sweetheart as her self and her brother Hidalgo.
Tiger has also been kissing her,and like his future girlfriend very much.

So now we are looking forward for the Summer.
Honey got good pattern, green-green eyes and are very elegant - all qualitees Tiger could need more of.

So we want to thank Stefanie one more time for another beautiful cat with an amazing temper.
You,your family and your other sweet cats have done a great job with them.

Honey Bunch will live with Ozzie and Milla.

The 3 musketeers

It is so lovly to live so close to our beloved boys.
Then it is easy to take new pictures from time to time.
The little boys are not so little anymore. Well, Hidalgo has not been little ;-)

Hidalgo and Bico are the naughty team, but they need Tiger too, so they are perfect for eachother all 3. And it is such a pleasure to visit them. They are a bunch of sweethearts, so gentle, funny with super super temper.

Tiger is getting ready for the adult fertile life,so we are waiting for Ozzie's new call.
In the mean time he sings loud and clear, so Carolynn's ears get pretty sore, but he has no interests in spraying. We hope he never starts either.
While I am writing, I am still here in Kristiansand. Mommy Milla and Ozzie are also with us this time. Milla has never been in this house before, but I think she likes to be here.
And her favorite person beside me, is Auntie Carolynn. So last night she had Milla in one arm and Tiger in the other, when they went to bed to sleep.

Here comes some pictures from Friday. Milla and Ozzie came on Sunday so they are not taken new pictures of. But we will take some soon.
Bico is getting more and more alike his daddy. He has Dinky's supergreen eyes and his elegant body. I am very courius about him.
He will probably be my maskot and move home when he gets neutred. Bico is a very special boy who has a special place in my heart - but until he is neutred he will stay with the other boys, because of his mommy,Milla.
And all 3 boys are food-stealers , so the daughter in the house get seldom her food alone:-))

Next week I hope to visit Diva - our fostergirl who lives in Stavanger - with my camera of course.
