Our holiday :-)

I have resently come home from my little holiday.
It was some very fun days.
Some shopping, actually alot of shopping. I can not understand how it is possible to put so many things in to a little car!! I get amazed every time ;-)

But before I will write a little about that, I want to show you a sweet update from our  (N) Attack's Sunrise Crush who was the last kitten to move to his new home.
After only 3 days he got a new bestfriend and big brother.
A 5 year old bengal neuter.
I am sure they will have alot of fun together.
Thanks alot for the photo, Nina :-)

Photo : Nina.

We did visit 3 Countries this time.

In Denmark we eat good food and did some shopping.
Some Deer meat  for later. Maybe for Christmas?
Veal hearts for the cats and also some Whild boar . It will for sure be some experiments on the kitchen during this fall and Winter.

I found some clothes too. A neon orange Winter jacket , so now do everyone know who is walking along the road.
I also found the sweetest warm sweather, and  the brand? Milla!! I had to ask my Milla when I came home if she has started to produce clothes ;-)
It is true, Milla-clothes do exist, but I did not get any clear answer from my own Milla. She is full of secrets, so who knows? You can take a look here :   Milla Clothing

The next stop was Germany. Some shopping there as well,
I'd found the best tea there ever.
Cherrry tea. I regret I only bought 1 pk. But then we have an excuse to visit Germany again another time.

In Germany they have something called Brezel. In gass-stations, food stores - just everywhere.
And when we were in a hurry, they tastet very good. I bought some home as well.

And look how genial!!  Wish it was like this in Norway as well.
Lucky dogs!!

After Germany we had plans of eating dinner in Amsterdam, but the clock had ran so fast for us in Germany, so we have to have that dinner-plan for later.
I got at least a bottle of cola in Holland. I am sure it taste very similar to the Norwegian bottles tough ;-)

And then we drove home....
Of course not!! :D
The reason we did not have much time in Holland was because of a very nice visit in Germany.
A visit to Kiemhild and her husband.
Kriemhild has cats, and she got kittens too.  Very beautiful kittens, happy and outgoing.
Since I brought the camera with me, I want to share some pictures with you as well.
A fifth kitten in her litter was moved to his new home, so sadly we missed him. By earlier pictures , he had the bluest eyes I have ever seen.

This is Bilbo. A very funny kitten who did know how to charm the very best. He was a bit naughty too :D And beautiful!! Lucky new owner who soon will have him :

And then it is Tauriel - the only baby-girl in the gang, with her second brother, Gandalf :

Ok, the reason we went to Germany was to pick up a new kitten.
Since we had to neuter Hidalgo faster than planned ( big problems with the Suprelorin chip, we can write about it another time) , we wanted a new unrealated boy for all our girls in our breeding programme.
When all the babies was really small I saw my dream kittens. Actually I could have "catnaped" all of them. Kriemhild was so nice and let me choose.
I'd fell in love with especially two of them, but who should I choose? A blackspotted bicolour or a chocolate tabby SYS ?
Oh, it was really not easy. They was so special in different ways.

4 month later :

Gandalf :

Ainur :

We did choose Gandalf.
But..... Ainur, the beautiful SYS boy was still not sold.

The travelling home again by car went great.
It was very good to be home again after some days on the road.

Gandalf got a new bodyguard in my new home, a special boy who loves kittens with all his heart :

Oooops, look, Ainur came along with us too!!

This is what happens when you are visiting breeders who has not sold all their cats and when you have a silly silly heart! And then combine it with beautiful kittens with charming temperament.

Both boys are so elegant and beautiful, and with a super soft and friendly temperament.
I love their looks so much. Their eye colour is just fantastic, something we need for our breeding. And with their ears they both looks like little elfs. The precious duo!
We will see what will happend with them for our future breeding programme.
But in the next month we will just enjoy their childhood and give them about 1000 kisses every day.
They will grow up partly with us and partly with Carolynn in Kristiansand, so they will learn to enjoy to have two homes if needet.

So welcome to us : Gandalf and Ainur von Wirtzheim .
Gandalf is a OSH n 03 24 and Ainur is a SYS b 02 21.
Their daddy is : Ghali von Saromo SYS n 03.
Their mommy : MariSol von Wirtzheim OSH b 24

Thank you so much, dear Kriemhild for everything. You are always welcome to Norway, we have a  great fishing lake for your husband ;-)

This was all for now. Now we want to get to know our little treasures.

Our sweetheart, Nikita is growing

In March our dilution OSH babies were born , along with 2 choc.tabby siamese babies.
Tomorrow they are actually 6 month old.

We are so pleased with all 6 of them, and so are the new owners as well. Super outgoing and friendly.

Since Nikita is living with us, the camera is often active. And my little girl, who is not so little anylonger - she is the born model ;.)
She is changing day by day. I have always tought she was so much alike her grandmother, Milla - but maybe it is the colour who confuses a bit?
She has become very much alike her uncle Tiger as well.
I don't see anything from her mother or father. Oh, well, she got the same intense eyecolour as her mother - they almost shines in the dark - it's so beautiful.

We are very exiting about her development, and we are looking very much for her breeding plans next Spring/Summer.

The cats has lazy days, and love the little rest of Summer. Sunbathing out on the porch.
Tiger is visiting us for a while, and noone of us have any problem with that - Tiger is our special special darling. He don't mind to stay here either. He has 2 little favorite girls in my home right now - and that is the two little bico torties.

Milla has started to produce milk again, for her granddaughter, Nikita and the two little torties.

Jimmy - Nikitas brother has started to get interested in the oposite sex. He is not fertile yet, but we think actually it will not take a whole year. His grandfather, Dinky was also very early - so ? We will probably "wrap" Misty in a beautiful giftpaper and give her to Jimmy when he is ready ;-)

Tomorrow me and Carolynn will deliver the last kitten in our Bico litter to his new home.
(N) Attack's Sunrise Crush will move to a bengal cat and a horse, and a new mommy and daddy.
Actully it is not so far away from my home.

We have some kitten plans ready for both Tia and Misty - so maybe some new little babies will see the daylight in 2014 - if not there will be a babyboom in our cattery in 2015. We makes the plans, and the cats complete them if they agrees - the nature law ;-)

In week 39 I will take a little holiday.
I did only have 2 w with holiday during Summer. I am really looking forward for it.
Last time we did visit Yvonne and Kajsa in Sweden, and this time we will also be visiting some other breeder friends :-)
The camera will come along, so my blog will be filled with holiday when I am back home again.

Catshow and bye bye to ICandy.

Last weekend with our dearest and sweet Icandy - son of Hidalgo and Diva - brother of Jimmy and Nikita. Now he lives in Finland with Hanna Kekkonen.

Yes!! You did read it right.
We have been at a catshow ;-) Not with just a quick visit - we spent a whole day there...... with cats.

I do not show much for many reasons.
The days are so long - I like to spend my weekends in a totally different way.
If shows could last just half the time it would be a bit better.
And many other reasons as well, but shall not be told about today :-)

Some very sweet people in the club asked us if we could come. Hmmm, I was not actually so thrilled about the whole idea.
Carolynn was  oh yes, come on - you could show this one and that one :-)
Since we were expecting Icandy's new owner that weekend - a person who loves catshows I agreed on to go.
We decidet 1 day was enough - also because we had other plans on Sunday.

At Friday I took the train to Kristiansand.
Icandy's new owner had allready arrived.
Carolynn and Hanna was at the Vet to get him health checked a very last time , and few hours later we were all together.

Hanna is a real catmagnet and all the cats fell in love with her both in Kristiansand and in Eiken  - love at first sight.
We have very outgoing and friendly cats, so it would felt strange if they were ignoring her. But thankfully SIA and OSH don't know what ingoring are ,they are just courius - hello - who are you!!

Friday was spent couddling with the cats.Milla, Hidalgo, Diva, Jimmy, Nikita and Icandy. And also Sunrise Crush.
(Sonny was at the time still on dating visit with Tia in Stavanger.)
We eat sushi from Sabi and it tasted just wonderful.

Hannas photo.

Saturday came, and 3 very tired ladies went to the show.
Along with us : Milla, Hidalgo and Jimmy,Nikita and Icandy.
All of them on show for the very first time.

Thank you Kirsten and  Jarl for letting us borrow one of your nice show curtains.

Milla was so sweet and it is really no problem to bring her along another time later.
Hidalgo really enjoyed it - but he loves to come along us everywhere. He is sooooo laidback and cool.
All the siblings was together as a litter, and we choose to show Nikita and Icandy individual too.

The jugdes was really great. So friendly to both owners and cats, and we got very nice papers from them.

I just love this picture - I think Milla has a jugdement on the jugde as well :D

Milla again - my precious:

Hidalgo our cool guy - and yey!! He became BIS neuter male!

Hidalgo was also 2 years old on Saturday - and no birthday without a cake!

The babies was so good at the show. Happy, playful and trusting.
Nikita and ICandy got very nice feedback.
The jugde could not find any faults at all with Icandy - everything was very correct on him. From head to tail. Profile, eyecolour, eyeshape, coat and colour + + + That was the best feedback we could ever dreamed of. We are very exiting how he will develop.
Nikita who was with another jugde got also super feedback.
Future looks bright for both of them.
Nikita got also a NOM, and the jugde ICandy was with, was sad he could not give him a NOM. There was another very beautiful kitten there too. But that is totally ok. The little kitten who won is just amazing.
But we got BIS- litter - with pleasure for their look, their temper and health.

Between the jugdement it was nice to have grandma and daddy to take a powernap with :

Hannas photo.

In the evening we went out for dinner with friends, and a short visit on a pub after.
But after a long day it was nice to go home again to Carolynn.
Sunday was spent in Eiken with dinner at the hotell. A short visit for Hanna in my home to also see our little torties and Tiger.
And we must not forget little Batman, the little housecat we were babysitting for a friend who help homeless cats.

Time flies in good company, and sudden Hanna and Carolynn had to  drive back to Kristiansand to pick up ICandy and head on to the airport.

I wish Hanna all the best with Icandy ( Gollum ), and we are very exited what the future will bring.
Good luck in Finland our sweetheart - now you are a part of FI*Keskimaan
Thank you also for all the help this weekend, Hanna. Hope to see you again many times in the future :-)
